These caprese skewers are an easy, irresistible treat. Fresh tomatoes combined with basil and mozzarella, and topped with a balsamic drizzle. A perfect appetizer or addition to a charcuterie board.

Cherry or Grape tomatoes
Mini mozzarella cheese balls
Fresh basil, cut into halves or small pieces
Salt and Pepper
1 c. balsamic vinegar
Skewers or toothpicks
- Bring balsamic vinegar up to a boil in a saucepan. Then, lower the heat and set to simmer for 10-15 minutes, until it becomes a syrupy reduction. As it cools, it will continue to thicken a bit more. Set aside.
- Assemble the skewers with tomato, basil, and mozzarella. Add as much as you can or would like in that order. Place skewers on a plate.
- Drizzle skewers with balsamic reduction.
- Sprinkle Italian seasoning over skewers. (optional)
- Serve and enjoy
